Overview

The course (Economic Statistics) and its code (IE209) is taught to second-year students of the Department of Islamic Economics, at the rate of two hours per week. In this course, the student studies important topics in statistics, including the statistical community and the sample, simple indices with their applications and weighted ones with their applications, and the statistical properties of time series , and the method of least squares, analysis of the phenomenon in the effects of the general trend, selection (x2) (choosing the quality of coordination and independence), unilateral variance and bilateral variance, and achieving variance using the (F) test. The course aims to provide the student with a set of statistical analysis tools with the intention of using them in various economic applications.The value that accrues to the student from studying the course:To familiarize the student with statistical analysis tools. - 1That the student knows the use of statistical analysis tools in economic applications. -2To know the relevant curricula and how to link them. - 3
